Mark Bornino jammed the magazine into the AK-47’s recess, snapped the bolt back and pressed the metal stock into his shoulder.
“You feel that, huh?” Daniel Volpone said, watching his buddy adjust the rear sight and flick the selector to automatic. “She’ll empty a hundred rounds a minute and take your shoulder off if you don’t keep her tight.”
Mark grinned, kept his eye level to the sight and his hand tight on the rear grip. “A hundred, yeah?” he said, squeezing the trigger.
“Jesus,” Daniel said, taking another swig from his can, “you’re shooting up the neighbourhood.”
